Step 22 1) Loosen the 2 bolts holding in bottom half of air box. 2) Push back clip on bottom half of airbox, located on bottom ram air unit. Step 18 Re-install nut from step 4 and tighten using 10mm socket or wrench. Step 23 Remove air box from vehicle.

DPXTM Technology PLUS from APPLICATION AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PIE PART # BMW/PC-PIOX VEHICLE APPLICATIONS: Use with the following BMW vehicles when equipped with “BMW Business” radio and pre-wired with 3-pin and 6-pin connectors: 3-Series 1998-Up 5-Series 1995-2003 X5 2000-Up Mini 2002-Up TheBMW/PC-PIOX can be used in the following applications : CD-Changer interface XM-Satellite Tuner Interface CD-Changer and XM-Satellite tuner interface Use with one of the following Pioneer (IP-BUS) 6-Disc changers: CDX-P676 CDX-P680 Use with one of the following Pioneer XM-Tuners: GEX-P900XM GEX-FM903XM GEX-P910XMINSTALLATION : CAUTION: BEFORE ANY CONNECTIONS ARE MADE, PIE STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT ALL CIRCUITS BE VERIFIED WITH A VOLTMETER BEFORE INTERFACING WITH THEM. ALWAYS SET THE PARKING BRAKE BEFORE WORKING ON ANY VEHICLE. DO NOT force connectors together as pin damage may occur. Thisinstallation will be flawless if you take your time making the connections described below.

Following the installation sequence below is critical to ensure proper recognition of the CD changer by the factory radio. 1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. 2. Determined if a combination of XM-radio and CD-Changer will be installed.(see diagram on back) 3. Mount the XM-Tuner/CD-Changer at the desired location following the instructions supplied by the manufacturer. 4. Locate the factory data cable connectors (3-pin and 6-pin). 5. Plug the factory data cable into the 3-pin and 6-pin sockets of theBMW /PC-PIOX. When used as a CD-Changer interface: (see diagram on back) 6. Plug one end of the Pioneer data cable (supplied with CD changer) into the female IP-BUS DIN of theBMW /PC-PIOX. 7. Route the Pioneer data cable to the CD-Changer location, being careful NOT to pinch or damage the cable. 8. Plug the Pioneer data cable into the mating connector of the Pioneer CD-Changer. 9. Connect 12-volt constant and chassis-ground wires of Pioneer DIN cable. When used as an XM-Satellite radio interface: (see diagram on back) 10. Plug one end of the Pioneer data cable (supplied with XM-Tuner) into the female IP-BUS DIN of theBMW /PC-PIOX. 11. Route the Pioneer data cable to the XM-Tuner location, being careful NOT to pinch or damage the cable. 12. Plug the Pioneer data cable into the “IP-BUS OUT” connector of the XM-Tuner. 13. Connect 12-volt constant and chassis-ground wires of Pioneer DIN cable. When used in a combination of XM-Satellite radio and CD-Changer interface: (see diagram on back) 14. Connect 12-volt constant and chassis-ground wires of Pioneer DIN cable(s). 15. Reinstall the factory radio into the dash and reconnect the negative battery terminal.

BMW announced the North American debut of the 7 Series with a twin-turbocharged inline-6 engine. Featuring BMW’s award-winning inline-6 engine that produces V-8 power on six-cylinder fuel consumption, the new BMW 740i and BMW 740Li achieve a remarkable balance of power, efficiency, and sporty driving dynamics. Both models will go on sale in the United States as 2011 models in Spring 2010. The M.S.R.P. of the 740i is $71,025 and the long wheelbase 740Li will retail for $75,425 (prices Include $875 Destination and Handling charge). In 1977, the original BMW 7 Series was launched exclusively with inline-6 propulsion. The United States first met the BMW 7 Series in the 1978 model year as the 733i Sedan. The 733i featured a 3.2-liter inline-6 engine rated at 197 horsepower. The 733i remained on sale in America until it was replaced in 1985 by the BMW 735i Sedan. The 735i, which featured an updated inline-6 engine producing 218 horsepower from 3.4 liters, enjoyed a production run that lasted through the end of the 1992 model year. The 735i was joined by the extended-wheelbase 735iL in May of 1988. A keystone of BMW’s EfficientDynamics philosophy is “virtual displacement,” the notion that BMW’s modern engines of smaller displacement can equal or exceed the outputs of traditional engines of larger displacement and more cylinders. Free BMW cruise control actuator Manuals

BMW cruise control actuator. This actuator is used in several BMW models since October 1985 in May 1999, the chart below can be used to cross-reference the use of the actuator. The cruise control will look to operate only intermittently or partially when the tooth of the gear shall be provided for the propulsion of the drum of a belt of control. This is because the control unit will try to operate the actuator, but receive inconsistent feedback potentiometer when the device encounters a broken tooth. The cruise control is closed in the two part plastic housing. Cable valve to go through the device of the upper half. Male electrical connector for round cable is also located in the upper half.

As BMW explains it, the original Gran Turismos of the 1950s and ’60s were stylish and luxurious two-seat
performance cars with roomy trunks that could handle two people and their luggage for a weekend away.
For 2010, BMW is revising that idea with the 5 Series Gran Turismo, a sporty sedan/hatchback that can handle five people and their luggage.
The 2010 BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo is a precursor to a redesigned 5 Series lineup, both in style and engineering. The design features a more upright version of the signature BMW twin-kidney grille and
shapelier flanks thanks to a more pronounced character line running the length of the car from the headlights to the taillights and an indentation along the bottom of the doors, just above the rocker panels. Unlike other 5 Series models, the GT has frameless windows and a coupe-like hatchback body style. The
car is based on a version of the 7 Series architecture that will also host the rest of the redesigned 5 Series lineup. Though a version of the 5 Series, the Gran Turismo rides a 120-inch wheelbase, which is seven inches longer than the current 5 and as long as the short version of the larger 7 Series. Visibility is improved
thanks to a higher H-point that puts the driver two inches higher than in the 7 Series. The most distinctive
feature is the bi-modal trunk, which can open like a trunk lid or like a hatchback. Inside, the BMW 5 GT will have a standard three-passenger rear bench seat, with an optional twopassenger
version that adds a center console. The seat will move forward and back to maximize comfort or rear cargo room. Move the seat fully back and trunk space is 15.5 cubic feet, but leg room becomes
